KJV: 27 And with him they crucify two thieves; the one on his right hand, and the other on his left. 28 And the scripture was fulfilled, which saith, And he was numbered with the transgressors.

NIV: 27 They crucified two rebels with him, one on his right and one on his left. [28]

ESV: 27 And with him they crucified two robbers, one on his right and one on his left.

CSB: 27 They crucified two criminals with him, one on his right and one on his left.

Explanation

Luke 22:37 was added to Mark 15:28 to show the fulfillment of prophecy.

Luke 22:37 It is written: “And he was numbered with the transgressors”; and I tell you that this must be fulfilled in me. Yes, what is written about me is reaching its fulfillment.

Result

Nothing is lost since the verse does occur in Luke 22:37.
